Most beginners fail at learning guitar. That's because they try to find shortcuts that don't work. Thing is, you
have to master the basics no matter what style of music you like. And you need to understand basic music theory and
how it fits on the guitar fretboard.
Without this essential knowledge, you are flying blind. You will struggle and will take a lot longer to learn.
You'll become confused and frustrated with your progress. And as you seek the answer, you'll be overwhelmed with
information and it will become even more difficult to succeed.
The answer is to keep it simple and take it one step at a time. Learn the fundamentals well and build upon
them.
It's amazing what you can do with so little, once you know how.
