dreamed of playing guitar but, was to overwhelmed by all that they have to learn … Like me!
Thank You, OK, I have to admit that when I first saw the [pentatonic scales] color chart I was intimidated or maybe just confused. After a few days of working through it I am now really enjoying it. I was shown the 5 “vertical” patterns and always had trouble flowing from one to another. No more. The combinations are endless. Oh yeah, I’ve had a bit of fun pedalling on an open A string and adding the D and G string patterns on top as you go up the neck. I’m sure I accidentally landed on bits of a couple of ACDC tunes! Thanks again John! Hey John, hope you enjoy the holidays with family. You know its OK to take a break from
work don’t you? You know what a break and/or holiday - is don’t you? Most of us
workaholics don’t. I thought I’d pull the definition right from the dictionary. Take a break and don’t worry about it Dana These videos rly helped me SourTears This site is great, although I have only been playing for around 6 weeks I have picked up more sensible tips in the time that I have been looking at this site than in all the weeks I spent surfing the net looking for information!! Great sites JB, I’m learning a lot!! Fraser I decided to take up the guitar again after 30 years - I took early retirement and, at 63, thought I would like to learn again but realised that I may have a few problems - fingers not as supple as they used to be, arthritis setting in a bit in my hands but, what the heck, nothing ventured nothing gained! I bought myself the best I could afford - a Fender Strat - and am really enjoying learning again. I use this site in conjunction with Guitar Chord Secrets and have found a whole load of useful stuff that I never knew before. Keep it coming JB!!! If I can ever afford it I’ll subscribe to Fretboard Domination as well! Fraser Join Play Guitar Blog Now - It's FREE!

Everybody is in for a treat. I have benefited from JB’s lessons for a little over two years now and I can’t say enough about the information he shares with the public. Remember slow and steady wins the race.

Hey JB, One important comment I wanted to share. Until now, no one ever taught me how to practice. Really. How to practice muscle memory by just practicing without playing the chord shapes and how much pressure or time to use. These simple little tips have helped so much. Thanks. Wish I had known this in the beginning years ago.
Gail
Hey JB, great new look. Been using the info you provided for free & it’s as good or better than what I see my friends purchased. Great job!
Thanks again,
Rick
This is the first website that has been filled with wonderful information. I’ve only started playing about a month ago. Have made some progress but after joining here I think there’s hope.

Hi JB, I have really enjoyed the lessons so far and my playing has improved tremendously!! I have had several music teachers ( piano, trumpet, guitar, ) over the years but I became bored very quickly. I love the way you go about teaching the guitar. I have learned more in the past two months than in the past 45 years! Keep it coming. I have never enjoyed playing and learning as much as I do now since starting your FD lessons!!

Like the new layout. Thought there was a problem with some of the links; but, it was my download manager. I am using your info and Hal Leonard book with CD. You are providing the info not normally found in guitar instruction books. Sure is helpful. Keep it coming.

I git lesson one of the free lessons and the PDF says to watch some videos. I don’t see any videos. Where are they?
Thanks,
